This antique sword possess a keen edge, though nicked from rigorous use. Wide bladed with a double fuller, the sword’s archaic design possesses little to no taper, giving the weapon a hefty balance well suited to devastating, crushing blows. The cross guard is formed by lengths of bronze and silver cabling twined and spun to create a rope-like weft. The wire wrapped hilt terminates in a cross-bar pommel. Gripping the cross-bar are the talons of a hawk at rest, its broad wings folded over its back.
